No more the Garden of Eden 1999.07 150 x 200, acrylic on canvas Remaking of the painting: 1994.02.13 While the original painting showed the stage for a terrestrial paradise, that was reflecting a happy moment of love, the remaking is much harder: the Soul seems to be confused and stands in front of a wall that conceals the Self. No more the Garden of Eden, but the hard human condition, in front of the Unknowable. |
