We have seen Mazzucconi’s large projects for public works, but when he designs houses, he follows a more intimate inspiration, related to the family life and to an almost romantic feeling of what a house should be. This suggests also a remind to traditional forms, as shown in the Greek Houses. In Milan houses projects, some typical features of the old country farms, such as the porticos and the roofs are recurrent, as constant elements of composition. We can even find them, almost unchanged, in the Case Lombarde projects of the early Sixties.
