An Italian law allows recuperating the garrets for residential use. Compared to other similar cases, which have disfigured many roofs in the city, this project has the merit of entirely preserving the original shape of the existing roof. Beside some traditional roof windows, the new design includes some recessed balconies, like little patios around which a few little apartments are organized.
