o The residence of the General Council resumes the theme of the Hotel de Ville and Stanislas square. A historical reference is joined to a metallic structure, developing in a contemporary spirit the architecture of the antique building and giving it the character of a work in progress - as if the creative experience of constructing a new and glorious Nancy belonged not only to the past but, above all, to the future.

o Two bridge-buildings mark the boundaries of the rectangular basin on its shorter sides, to be constructed with the same metallic structure, whose generalized use forms a type of modular chain linking together the project.
