(5/13)

The Door
1999.11.03
200 x 200, acrylic on canvas

Remaking of the painting:
1994.07.21

No more the angelic woman, guardian of the door of the spiritual realisation, but an idol deprived of love, while the real woman, or her image in my heart, precipitates and dissolves herself...

  The Spring
1999.11.06
150 x 200, acrylic on canvas

Remaking of the painting:
1995.04.29 (non-documented)

I was looking at my woman as at a drop of pure water, gushed out from a miraculous spring, but now her image divides itself, turns upside down and disperses, in the sorrowful mystery of life.

Liberation
2000.02.07
175 x 175, acrylic on canvas

Remaking of the painting:
1994.06.28 Giuseppina

This was your portrait, with your candour, and also the livid emptiness that, without knowing, you were bringing in yourself. Now it has become a hymn to liberation: of you, from your suffering; of me from mine and, above all, from you. It’s a living and suffered metaphor of the liberation of the spirit from the body...
