Structure

Metallic frame, constituted by:

    - main structure of O 3.5 mts tubular pillars ( exterior and interior corners of the pyramid) connected by horizontal structures at levels 8 and 15; the interior corners exist only above the level 8, thus avoiding to interfere with the Congress and Auditoriums Center accommodation.
    - secondary structure of the floors, with inclined pillars at a 10 x 10 mts module grid, and steel slabs. There are 15 main floors, 7 mts high, with mezzanine floors where required 3.50 mts high.
    - catenary-cables, to which the “sails” and the connecting slabs with the main volume of the pyramid are suspended.

Concrete structure:

    - West transversal concrete wall
    - East diagonal concrete wall
(the walls design is integrated with elevators, security stairs and ducts)
    - the “Vessel” ( Congress and Auditorium Center)

Curtain walls, anchored to a light frame and cables
“Sails” constituted by white marble panels
