The site is one of the most beautiful areas of Cantal, a lovely meadow amid mountain peaks and fragments of an ancient volcanic crater. Unfortunately a huge and ugly tower-building had been already build,when Mazzucconi started to design his "village". In the new project, a little square, real core of the inhabitants and tourists life, is surronded by apartment buildings, shops and an hotel. The square is opened on one side, towards the meadow, similarily to the square of a village on the seaside. From the square you can see, at the edge of the meadow, the largeArca delle Nevi, as a magic vessel. |
