| THE FIRST PAINTINGS | The path spontaneously starts with a duality of
values, as the sky and the earth, the good and the evil, the light and the
darkness, the spirit and the matter, whose elaboration will always be carried
on in all Mazzucconi’s works. The research for an inner harmony is on the other hand opposed to the breaking of such an harmony, as one can see in these studies. In the same period, although on a different plan, Mazzucconi was designing the façade of the Avenue Matignon building in Paris, that shows the same opposition and complementarity. |

In the same way, the relationship between the masculine principle (blue, sky) and the feminine one (pink, earth) appears, as well as the relationship between the physical sphere and the spiritual one, with a raising movement towards the latter. |
