Sacred Buttocks
1997.08.11
70 x 100, acrylic on canvas
  The sacred fire of sensuality.
See also two other paintings, where emphasis had been led on a buttock very strongly, may be in the intent of showing a mysterious power of it.

1999.09.03 The Effigy

The Chrysalis
1997.08.22
90 x 90, acrylic on canvas
There are three stages in the development of the human Soul: the lower, with its difficult advancing in the dark storm of life; the medium one in which the Soul is like a chrysalis that prepares the birth of the spiritual being concealed in ourselves; the superior one in which this being is making himself free, as an Angel in the light.

The two Impulses
1997.09.02
100 x 70, acrylic on canvas
The man is struggling between two impulses that, like two vortices of energy, drag him towards the matter and passions, or alternatively towards the spirit.

Separation
1997.09.08
90 x 90, acrylic on canvas
The two impulses take the form of the loved woman and the man, desperate for the crisis of their relationship. It’s also the separation between good and evil, the one associated with a principle of harmony and the other one with despair for its lost. The two breasts of the woman suggest a similar duality in the whole of life.
