Office Building
J.W. Thompson/SPDI (Leon Bernard Carat)

Interior
The building was designed for a large advertising firm, whose organization of working space was linked to a strong need for imagery, creativity and personal contact. The architect created within these parameters a space that is dynamic and interactive on many levels.

The Courtyard
Within a long and narrow site, the spatial organisation entails, towards the road, the free interplay of planes and volumes in an open space. Towardsthe courtyard, there are individual work units creating a jagged profile both horizntally and verticallyThe architecture towards the courtyard gracefully integrates itself within the communal space shared with neighboring houses and their gardens. One notes the curved covering of the graphics studio, announcing the theme of the vessel or Ark, which Mazzucconi later develops in many other Parisian projects.
